In September 1985, Nike and MJ launched the Air Jordan 1. A month later, they were “banned” by the league. Although the AJ1 is a sports and streetwear icon now, back when the sneakers debuted, they were highly disruptive and instantly revolutionary. While the league may have tried to stop MJ from lacing up in the original AJ1, they couldn’t do anything to temper the fans, so “They Can’t Stop You From Wearing Them” became a defiant rallying cry. Now, the spirit of the sneaker is brought to life through the ‘Rebellionaire’ Air Jordan 1, which features that same not-so-subtle reminder printed all over the style’s upper, and includes a Red “X” mark on the heel to commemorate the birth of the banned legend.

Elegance is their identity. The embossed “RMCF” monograms repeating across this Real Madrid third jersey borrow their distinctive look from the lettering used on traditional Madrid street signs. Standing out from the classy design, the iconic Trefoil returns to an adidas match shirt after a long break. Behind it all, AEROREADY keeps soccer fans dry and comfortable as they shout their support. This product is made with 100% recycled materials. By reusing materials that have already been created, we help to reduce waste and our reliance on finite resources and reduce the footprint of the products we make.

Made for big kids, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG GS ‘Dark Mocha’ features a non-traditional accent colour that nonetheless figures prominently in the history of Jordan Brand. The rich brown hue appears on the nubuck heel overlay and collar flap, stamped with a classic Wings logo on the lateral side. The rest of the upper combines a white leather base with contrasting black leather overlays. Nike Air branding adorns the tongue tag.
