The ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 Kith Cream Scarab (2024) is New York–based fashion house Kith’s take on the iconic Gel-Kayano 14. Bringing a toned-down look, this sneaker features an off-white Cream base with overlays in Scarab and shiny metallic silver.
The upper of the Kith Cream Scarab (2024) ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 is crafted from lightweight mesh with synthetic leather overlays that streak across the side panels. The sneaker boasts heritage Kayano features, including extra padding around the collar and ASICS form stripes on the side panels. The visible EVA Gel midsole provides cushioning, while the rubber outsole increases traction on a variety of surfaces.
This actually isn’t the first time that the Kobe, Japan-based brand has applied a grayscale approach to this silhouette, but we haven’t seen this particular colorway before. The mixture of materials is very similar to previous GEL-NYC releases; the predominantly “Black” upper is nicely contrasted by a shiny silver overlay, and “Graphite Gray” appears throughout the sole, with a nice gradient shift at the midsole.
Built to fit your foot and designed for comfort, the Nike Air Huarache brings back a street-level favourite. Soft leather accents on the upper are mixed with super-breathable, perfectly shined neoprene-like fabric for easy styling. The low-cut collar and bootie-like construction keep it sleek. Its iconic heel clip and stripped-away branding keep the early ’90s look you love.
