This actually isn’t the first time that the Kobe, Japan-based brand has applied a grayscale approach to this silhouette, but we haven’t seen this particular colorway before. Conveying a new perception to the retro running shape, the GEL-KAYANO 14 running shoe resurfaces with its late 2000s aesthetic as a nod to our storied GEL-KAYANO series.
Reinterpreting the shoe’s performance capabilities with updated materials and componentry, this version became the first iteration in the sneaker’s lineage to be designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano.
This torch’s passing would also reignite the franchise’s signature values while making advancements in its performance evolution.
Mirroring the original midsole tooling with GEL® technology cushioning, this shoe also improves the fit of the upper while retaining its layered leather and mesh construction from 2008.
The Air Force 1 Low ‘White Red Sole’ brings a vibrant look to its classic basketball construction. The shoe’s upper is built with leather, featuring a white base highlighted by University Red on the Swoosh, heel patch and tongue tag. Underfoot, more University Red highlights the midsole, which houses Air for cushioning, giving way to a concentric rubber outsole for traction.
The neutral pink palate is a soft change on the Nike Air Max 270. A large Max Air unit and plush foam midsole offer cushioning under every step, while the stretchy inner sleeve provides a snug, socklike fit that’s sure to keep you comfortable all day, every day.
